What's the issue with Jones bars on a crosser? seems a good way of utilizing hydros and gears on a road or cross bike.

No issue if don't want a UCI compliant cross bike.

Back to the rules again.....

Cos they look ****in stupid 😉

No other reason for me at least.

Oh and the 'proper' Jones ones cost silly money.

I used this set-up during the 2008 season when recovering form another collar bone injury...I had previously only run Jones H-bars on a singlespeed.

I found the Barcons when pluggled into the end of the h-bar pretty easy to operate, although consider that they do sometimes end up pointing in some strange directions depending on what gear you have selected. I also thought about mounting them on the forwards part of the "H" , however didn't try this as the cable routing seemed smarted / smoother on the rear (and the shifters were easier to reach)

Another option would be to run barcons on a aftermarket thumbshifter mount--but check how the match up with the reservoirs of the hydraulic levers.
