Thinking of heading there this weekend.

Its quite the drive, does it get 'full' or are people being turned away from the carpark under coronavirus restrictions?

Can you now pay for parking on card? havent used cash since feburary

Is everything open?

It gets quite busy now, but there are places to park if not in the car park (but please do so considerately!)

You can use a card, but the machines were turned off (i.e. Free parking) the last time I was there.

And all the trails are open - café wasn't last time I was there (2 weeks or so ago), but the rules have relaxed in Wales since, so it may now be open...

Was there yesterday and the car park was fairly full with a larger proportion of non-riders than maybe previous visits.

As above, the centre was closed (including toilets in the lower car park I think) and no ticket machines. The new blue was also closed (looks like they were resurfacing one of the underpasses) but may be back open by the weekend.

Useful info thanks, especially about the free parking.
Will visit next week to see how many times I can ride up the uplift road for the DH track on the eeb, as cwmdown isn't running yet.

Anyone ridden around 5pm on a week day recently? I was thinking about driving over after work one night next week but won't bother if it is stacked out.

It usually quietens down about 4pm as the day trippers leave, mainly locals in the evenings.

I usually go later in the day, and as above it's always dead. Hardly ever see more that one or two people per lap and that's usually through the trees on some.other part of the course.

Per above, plenty of parking etc on a weekday evening. It's not usually busy on the trails unless you're riding the off piste - the Risca side sees quite a bit of traffic.
