I once thought I'd love a hand welded curtis frame for a piece of art to stick on the wall then I realised it would be a waste if I didn't ride it till one of us died.

Had a pro street (the sx24) one cracked it three times then snapped the top tube headtube gusset weld it got repaired eachtime foc but once a frame has broke that many times I lost faith, they wouldn't replace the frame either look at their warranty reasonings they give it's not made out to be what it is. There are better cheaper options out there.

Had an SX26 when they first started doing MTB frames about 10 years back. Awesome frame...

Got a Curtis FR frame made a few years back (still got it), and have had no problems with it at all, if I was to order another I would get the head tube angle slackened off a bit rather than the 'recommended 71deg', for the money there are plenty of good frames on the market for half the price (Cotic, Dialled, etc.) unless you want the option of custom geometry?
