Friend is after something a bit like my Diverge, but on C2W and he'd like to keep it around the £1k area.
So, more on the speed end of the gnarmac spectrum. 70/30 Road/track sort of thing.
I think he's fairly open to choosing retailer, even though his scheme is Halfords based.
So, what do we think, folks?

I just got a Vitus thing, it was £699, Sora equipped steel frame with TRP discs. Been impressed so far.

Still liking my CAADX - have not tried any alternatives, but to me it's like an overbuilt road bike, i.e. good on the road but can take it off-road without worrying about it
