[Closed] Lezyne Super GPS battery life

My Lezyne Super GPS slowly loses battery life when switched off and not in use. I might go for 10 days or more without getting out for a pedal and the battery will drop from full to around 5% in that time.

In fact, I have never seen the battery at 100%. After an overnight charge it is around 94%, like its fully charged and then started to drop off again. I have only used it a handful of times since buying new at the end of last year.

Anyone know if this is normal or a faulty unit?

Thanks

Got one here.  Last used Friday for perhaps 4hr ride?  (using Bluetooth).  Don't think I'd charged it up before then and defo not charged since.   Just Switched on, 44%. It's charging now and I'll update later.

Doesn’t sound right , had mine since Christmas and only charged it a couple of times , been used twice a week on average  . Battery life is one of the best things about it

Sounds faulty, I get 12+ hours out of a full 100% charge.

Got the latest firmware? Y10 version had update 26th Feb.

Katie's got one that seems to be similar - loses battery when not in use.

Mine now does this.  Fully charged gives 85% which it will then discharge when switched off.  Still does it with the latest firmware installed.  I'll send a request per the useful post above.

Or perhaps not that useful.  It's US support so all they can suggest is a factory reset and if no good (still the same for me) then send it back to the retailer.

Doesn’t surprise me at all. I had one that would not turn on, brand new. Replacement could not find sensors. Never again!

All batteries lose charge when not in use, especially Li-ion. Also, fully depleting a battery degrades it's ability to take charge.

Use the Lezyne more often, it should be fine.

Lol. 3 times a week not enough then? I will run it down though and try a charge from flat.
