[Closed] crankalicious fork grease instead of sram butter for reverb seatpost?

I have replaced some seals and am putting my old reverb back together and the sram video recommends a small amount of sram butter around the seals. I googled sram butter and a UK company selling crankalicious shock treatment came up with lots of the usual UK online mtb stores. So I looked and it seems to be a lithium-based grease for rubber seals in suspension forks. This sounds like a good fit for the purpose I need it for. Does anyone have any knowledge of why this should not work?
