Have got a set of carbon Nextie's secondhand ... they're plus size so plenty of rim, and also plenty of brand/decal on show. Is there a simple way of covering this? I'm guessing painting over would look very bodgy! The challenge is partly that the decals go around the nipples.

Any thoughts?

is the laquer over the top of the decals or under?

Normal process is to heat up with a hair dryer and peel off but I guess yours must be under a coating?

I've ordered some of them and I assume under lacquer.

You may be stuffed as I enquired about removing stickers. And was told no.

I took the stickers off the wheels on my FS bike, they were red and grey and a bit in your face. Looks far more subtle now. They weren't under any lacquer, neither were the ones on my old bike either.
