A friend of mine is working in Coventry and is trying to find dirt jumps or jumpy trails near. Anyone know anywhere?

If your friend is temporarily moving to the city, you would be surprised where you can reach in 2 - 2.5 hours, after a life time of climbing and now cycling I really miss just being able to nip up to the Peak, and Wales isn't much further. However for local jumps or jumpy trails it might be worth talking to some of the LBS, other than that I don't know if Leamington 4X is still rideable and the same for Bishops Tachbrook pump track.

Both leamington 4x track and bishops tachbrook pump track are worth a drive over for an evening if looking for something to ride. Solihull pump track is also quite good.

If your mate is really into jumping and has more time, get over to kinver bike park, about 1 hour from Coventry. More DH / trail bike style jumps but really good jump place. Also only 1 hour from Woburn which for dirt jumps looks amazing

A few dirt jumps in Kenilworth near Wardens sports ground. Also a few under Festival round about fly over.

There are some short trails and a skills park at Pooley Country Park which are fun to session, not much further from there you have Hopwas woods which is good fun too.

From Coventry those would be around 30minutes if the roads are good.

There are some pretty big dirt jumps tucked away in the woods at Baddesley Ensor near Atherstone too.

Are the jumps on the Wedge road still maintained?
