wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I built this up with some hope, a sprinkle of King and a dash of XTR
Not quite finished but an impatient test ride left me smiling

Nice !- Flats or spuds though? Did you decide which one?
It will mostly be spds, but flats for rides with my kids
Great bike, I have the same as you, love it.
The state of that lawn......
Oh, and try rolling the bars back a little, they look "forward". Unless that's your thang, of course.
I really like the bars where they are, kinda reminds be of my bmx days
With your forum name there was only one way this early review would go! ๐
Souls are great!
is that 650b rear and 26" front?
@MSP +1 ...the first photo looks like you have two diff wheel sizes...
Nice bike...I have a Soul in black too...
Nope they are both 26" I took the photo at an angle so I think it's just perspective making it look funny
I keep looking at the 26er revs and wheels in the garage and the space where I could just about squeeze in a Soul and thinking "hmmmmmmmm".
Got your tyres on the wrong way round and that leylandii is a shambles, other than that not bad
Letterbox looks wonky
Very nice but I'd swap those tyres round before you take any corners at speed!
Nice. Wish I'd never sold mine.
But the 650b Soul IS ace!
Nope the tyres are correct and As for bush, two young children mean I get to choice riding my bike or gardening 8)
You people gave made me paranoid and I've been out looking at the rotation arrows! Unless your referring to having a stickier tyre on the back, which is because I have a big box of tyres and wanted to try out different combinations, this works pretty well as the queen has more forward grip but breaks traction when you lay it down in a corner which is good fun
Gonna try a trail King 2.4 on the front next but this said the trails are getting pretty dry and dusty
I had those tyres on my Soul and the X-King (on the back) was way driftier than the Rubber Queen. They roll quicker that way too! If you lean the Rubber Queen more it'll hook up again and rail, like a High Roller.
I have a 2.4 trail King I'll try on the front and move the King to the rear and see how I get on.
As for leaning, if I lean any more the bar will hit the dirt! K
