anyone know the timings, i want to go down and watch the climb at millook and was wondering what time riders are expected to reach the climb. Think everyone will need some encouragement, as the weather is looking like its going to be pretty horrific down here.
cheers

Tor, as in the tors found on dartmoor and bodmin moor, most specifically bodmin as dartmoor is over the border in england!!

yes I just thought that was a bit odd as I'm fairly sure cornwall has more than one tor (hence my pic of hawks tor on bodmin) so "the cornish tor" is just a bit odd. We wouldn't say the devon tor as people would get lost as there are lots of them. So your explaination is invalid, please come back with a more well thought out and succint answer.

PS yunki is right about the GPROD, but I'm not sure about his scones as I do butter, jam, cream. Which is obviously the best and yummiest, learned to me by Devon Maids in Devon farmhouse kitchens in the 70's.

ehhh! what?
my explanation is invalid? errr, You asked why it was called the cornwall tor, i told you why, its a play on words, it has no bearing on number of tors or anything else, just a simple play on words...
well thought out and succinct enough for you? You asked i told you what i know, got a problem, take it up with the organisers.

oh and ps, what picture? you mean the one that isn't visible?

What is it with this site, you ask a simple question and have to deal with pedantic trolls, with nothing better to do but use irrationality to start and argument and make themselves feel all big a clever. Whilst entirely failing to add anything of value to the original question.

get out and ride yer bikes

Cornwall's only just big enough to fit one proper Devon sized Tor 🙂
And true Devonians (not incommers) know it's cream first then jam.

Dibbs... the Cream is used to hold the jam on you fool! 😉

I rode the Tor, it was wet and cold, and then a bit more wet.
100 Miler was knocked down to 77, which I couldnt face, so I did the 46.

I dont think many did the 77....

We'll I didn't bother Sunday - did a ride Sat Nr Exeter instead which I enjoyed, no wind with a bit of light rain - I was going for the 100 miler and this was cancelled - wanted to be able to ride another day rather than blown into a car!

My extensive survey of about 20 odd farms in mid devon (Think of an arc through Bow-Chulmleigh -Sandford-Yeoford) says otherwise. You down south Devon way? there is a fair amount of lineage from the Spanish Armada. Maybe you have a bit Burro in your blood.. 😆

We should have a westcountry STW bake off and see which is best.
