Been granted a pass out by the Fun Police next week and thinking of a wee trip, a low level ride in the Lakes, and a trip up to Kirroughtree, where I've not been before. Any reasons to avoid either of these at the moment? They're a bit further north than my usual haunts, and I'm not familiar with either area in the winter- I'm hoping the riding will be fine unless the weather makes a significant turn for the worse.
Its pissing it down.
Your link isn't working for me but I'd make sure and stick to rocky tracks in the Lakes at the mo. it's hardly stopped raining for weeks up here. Windy too.
Yup, wet and windy here in the Lakes.
Loughrigg / Iron Keld should be alright as it's mainly rocky.
Kirry is always fine in the wet too.

+1
Was there today, small section at knipe fold was a bit boggy but the rest, although wet, was perfectly rideable.
Thanks all. Pretty much what I expected to hear.
