Minion DHF?

Which one, there's umpteen types to choose from.
These also seem a lot heavier than the CM(850g v 1200g)

Are these tough enough for the Lakes?

The one I'm using is Exo single ply Supertacky (42a).

Which wheel size ? A Minion DHF 26" Maxx Terra EXO 3C is 870g, but at £45 not a cheap option.

Front or rear? Personally prefer hans dampf or minion (exo 42a) front, CM rear

26" wheels to go on the front. Current CM is a trail extreme

Minion DHF 2.35 supertacky single ply is £19 at CRC. Could be a winner?

I'd go for the Gravity casing on any Schwalbe tyre for hard Lakeland riding. Magic Mary is working good for me. But Schwalbe do come to up big.
Minion 2.3 in EXO would be as light as I would want and is very similar to a CM but narrower.

Is that wire bead? I'm using 2.5" folding (tubeless), which measures about 60mm on Syncros DS28 rim.

Probably about the same as the CM, toughness wise, I would have thought?

Why change?

I liked the CM and may go back for the summer. I'll try a Shorty mebbe but I had no problem with a Monkey
