Take the remote off the bars and screw it onto the barb. DON'T press the lever while doing it or you will need to bleed it. 😉

Depends on the model. Old ones push on (and in the guides you have to slice the hose to get it off). New ones are simply a screw thread barb and hose screws into it.
I followed the MBR video. Even with a stinking hangover it was very easy!
I hold it in a pair of pliers in one hand, and tap it home with a small hammer.
All done screwed it on after taking remote off. Brakes bled pads replaced reverb bled 16 tooth cog fitted, 50mm stem fitted , a successful days fettling.
