i was wondering if anyone knew if you are able to fit a maxle axle in any of the Ragley frames?
was interested in one of the frames but am loathe to give up my dt wheels

any advice is appreciated

All Ragleys are 10mm standard rear axle. No plans to do a maxle rear at the moment, though I am doing one on a Nukeproof hardtail I'm working on for a 4x rider.

I thought DT axles were very swappable?

Thanks Brant
yeah the DT's are swappable but i do like the added security of the maxle.
the 4x Nukeproof sounds interesting, available to the public or just sponsored riders?

i like the look of the Blue pig but was hoping to be able to swap all my parts over to save hassle.

cheers again

The Nukeproof will be a production model - but it's very 4x - short seat tube, no front mech, etc. Nice though!

Maxle up front makes sense. Maxle in the rear for "normal" people is a bit overkill. Adding bolt on dropouts to allow it = extra cost, weight, etc...

I will have another look - I guess you could always drill it out!

Enough meat on a Ti dropout I'd have thought?

Slightly different question, but same area, if i can change my Hope Pro II rear hub to a bolt through can this be used on a normal frame with vertical dropouts?

Is the typical vertical dropouts 10mm or 12mm in most frames?

normal dropouts are 10mm (9mm qr bolt)but it could be a tight fit, im going to have to do some more homework myself to ensure itll fit
