I lusted after the pink and blue Montanas from around 1992. They were ace. It still looks nice today, Jimmy.

Thanks Rick. It was the most fun bike I ever had, but when I bought it back off a mate's dad a year ago as my commuter, I now wonder how the hell we rode what we did back then. Happy days.

ps - any decision on Sheepbridge?

Ahhh- the comp was my first ever mtb. My clashing flouro yellow mushroom helmet set the pink off a treat. Mates dad (flash git) got the pro, with xtr and Manitou front suspension! Very jealous (in 1991!)

Been emailing steve @ KHS over the past couple of days regards the bikes.
Was thinking of the Alite 3000 but not due till march/april.
May go for an XC604, full suss "may" help my knees.
Been impressed with how well he's responded to emails.

Spoke to Steve this morning and one shiny new KHS XC-604 on its way ๐Ÿ˜€

Should be fun considering its snowing round here and put a couple of inches down at work.
Home was fairly clear this morning, wait to see what its like when i get home.

Have to say dealing with Steve has been brilliant.

Cant wait.
