Why are platform pedal cones/lock nuts so inaccessible and the proper tools from Shimano three times the cost of the actual pedals? 🤷♂️
Unfortunately I found that out the hard way by trying to service my Brompton right hand pedal after riding in the snow and on salty roads. My normal trick of jamming with a screwdriver was unsuccessful.
Luckily the DMR V8 V2 tools only cost £7.99 which is less than a new pedal in this case. Any bright ideas for cheap options on M324s, as I have some that also need a bit of tlc?
