Hi guys ,

I may be buying the aforementioned bike from a work colleague to give the 29er thing a try. I think it's a 2013 model with a straight steerer . If I get on with the bike how hard would it be to find a better quality fork upgrade with a straight steerer for it ? Current fork is I think a suntour epicon.

Cheers
Ian

In among the other bikes I have a 26 boardman comp hardtail I use as my local lanes bridleway bike and it's been faultless, gets overwhelmed in steep forests - the fork is fine for trail work

The one I tried was very bendy. That's about the only thing I remember about it. The lad who's owned it couldn't stand the bendyness any more and sold it.
