Just wondering if anyone knows what the whole concept is behind the Bird Cycleworks team. Who is on it? Who do you get on it?

The team is our Factory race team, with 3 sponsored riders (They get 2 free bikes/full race kit etc.) and a number of supported riders that get race and bike/component purchasing assistance. The factory riders will be named in the near future when the full line up of sponsors comes out too. We also have a support deal in place for the Army Enduro team, and we'd welcome other service teams to apply too if interested.

There's no factory rides available for 2015 but supported riders are still welcome to apply. What do you need to do? Well mainly be good at racing, but also show a commitment to being at events across the year, and have a demonstrable means of supporting the business; be that through race reports & content for our site, some sort of industry connection that could be mutually beneficial or something like that. You also need to own a Bird or want to buy a Bird of course.

All Bird owners racing our sponsored or key events (Epic Cymru, Bird HT Super Series inc. Gravity Project and QECP races & UKGE races) are entitled to free race support across the whole event, including use of our mechanic facilities & mechanic, and access to spares etc. that we carry with us, and if you ask nicely then there's free tees and other goodies available for owners racing events we're at.
