Retro anyone?

Where: Cheddar Challenge downhill race, circa 96? Mate took this of me - I love the evil mission eyes.
Bike: STEEL Specilaized FSR, with Marzocchi DH3 3" travel forks
[IMG] [/IMG]

And another:
Where: Camping trip up Snowdon in 1993 or 94
Bike: Rigid Orange Clockwork

That DH pic takes me back a bit. I used to love that short DH course at Cheddar. Very tame now, but it was sooooo fast and frantic back then.

LOL at Willej's new niche. Looks like your waiting for someone to build you some northshore so you can continue your ride!

Willej, I have to ask.... What was the thinking behind the bike-in-a-tree, niche pics?

Don't really know, he's always done it. Almost every ride he'll eye up a tree and before anyone can stop him he's dragging his bike up it and we feel obliged to photograph him before he falls out!

Lucky sod rs.

i'm just about to order one, in purple as well.

and with a P20 gamut chain device.

Just deliberating if to go twin and bash or 1 x 9.
How do you like it.

Mine will have 66sl's and 721 rims with SLX stuff probably, unless I can find some K18 Oro brakes.

Thought you would like those pics, I prefer the 1x9 but just depends where you ride I guess and how much you need the granny. Most of my proper riding now goes downhill then its usually some switchback climbs or the bus back to the top. Having the 1x9 forces you to put some power in which i kind of like as I always used to take the easy option and drop to the granny. The 66 should be good, i'm looking out for a good deal on a 160mm fork. Also have a set of 09 deetraks coming next week which should pimp it up a bit compared with my wobbly old spesh enduro wheelset.
