Evening all
I have a garmin fenix 3hr watch which I get on with pretty well, and need a new bike computer for my gravel bike. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any cheapish (under £60 maybe) bike computers that don't have GPS or heart rates but can connect to devices that do (i.e. My watch) and show that data on their screen...?
Its a first world problem, but worth asking.
Cheers.
Why not get a Garmin handlebar mount for the watch, and a heart rate strap?
Looks like you can only broadcast HR to another garmin device, the cheapest edge cycle GPS is the 20 or 25 which can be picked up for £75 or so.
For heart rate, you can set the Fenix to broadcast that. So it will work as an Ant+ HRM, which you could use with a Garmin bike computer.
But no way of doing this for GPS. No cheap devices that support it anyway.
Best just looking for a cheap bike computer with GPS. Would probably be more accurate than the watch GPS anyway.
Cheers guys
I use a Garmin Edge 130 as a head unit when I'm road riding, and it mirrors a bunch of stuff over from the Fenix 5.
