Thule Aero bars. I want a bike carrier that holds the front bolt-through or the bike upside down and is compatible with my bars of course.
So far Thule OutRide 561- however is there a cheaper alternative?
I don't want a downtube holder (like my 591's) as I've found is scours/scratches the tube.

You could heli-tape the frame where it scratches the tube.

Not exactly what you wanted but the Atera GIRO AF holds the downtube in soft jaws s there's no risk of scrapes ans scratches.
