Binned it last night and have a buckled front wheel (and nettle rash) to show for my pains.
Truing wheels is no big deal, but my stand is an old Park one, designed for 9mm QR and not a lot else.
Anyone got any blinding ideas/experience for making this 20mm hub friendly?

surely, doesn't need a centralised axle - just put a QR through and hang it off that ?
True it in the fork. Couple of zip ties as pointers on the fork legs and off you go. 🙂
IIRC in my pro wrench days a rear QR would work.
In fork, do-able but never at a great height for working.
I guess once it's clamped, it won't be going anywhere... Probably not ideal for gauging dishing/up and down movement though as it isn't the most stable of base to work from.
(I'm sure it can be put better than that, but I'm sure you get the idea)

As CA says though, not a great height for working at.
