Right, after pretty much a year off with tendonitis in my knee, I managed to slowly crank up the riding back to some sort of respectable fitness (if not skill) level. Now, with less than a month to go until the only semi-competitive thing i've ever entered (the Dyfi), I'm stuck with having to bug out of rides short or not go at all with a damned head cold that's in my sinuses and affects my hearing and balance. To top it all off, it's bloody gorgeous outside! I am not a happy man.
