So assuming the bike shop actually have stock I’ve ordered a Kitsuma coil shock for my Sentinel. 400lb spring seems to be what a few online calculators suggest so I’ve gone with that - I weigh 75kgs dry - so say 78kgs kitted up probably.

When I had a Fox DHX2 there was a Fox guide you could go to and get base settings based on your weight and coil spring wind (I think those were the parameters).

Is there anything like this for the Cane Creek Kitsuma anywhere or is it a total shot in the dark to start with and try to feel your way through it testing out different settings?

Yeah there should be, and my CC DB IL coil has been set to the base settings, with maybe a click or 2 from base and it's bloody brilliant.

There used to be an app too. It was really good, but did like to forget your settings so a paper backup was handy (or hopefully they’ve fixed it)

Looks like the previous db coil had factory settings detailed in the user manual. But not an actual guide to what they should be vs the spring rate / your weight.

Kitsuma doesn’t even have those settings in the manual. Maybe my Google fu has failed me?

App doesn’t seem to exist in the Apple App Store
