mamadirt - that is soooo cool. You certainly have more B*lls than most of the chaps I know ๐
Wellies! Who needs 5 tens? ๐
In our climbing club my 'claim to fame' was grade 3 snow and ice and 5c rock in wellies (not on the same day tho, don't be silly ๐ )
I'll take that as a compliment Bunnyhop ๐

Mid to late eighties. What in the name of God was I thinking?.....

Somewhere around 89/90, backstreet ramp building at its best.

Mates on a train slumming it in the guards van early nineties. I'm the fresh-faced boy in the centre (RIP Chris)

Romford skatepark early nineties.
Good times.....
Wanna play out Kayak? ๐ I now have ramp envy.
kayak23 appears to be in the lead for his dodgy trousers ๐ Keep 'em coming
Er, 1985 or '86, and the only one of me on a bike until about 20 years later...

Marin County, Cali
1982. My buddy and I rode a "century," a 100-mile road ride on MTBs. I'm on the right with my 1981 Ritchey, my friend Mark on the left. He is riding one of the most collectible bikes of the 20th Century, my "Breezer #2," built in 1978, which now resides in the MTB Hall of Fame in Colorado.
I think thats trumped us ๐
What did we do before there was nostalgia............
Here I am with 'Smelly Melly' riding Tim Woodcock's Coast to Coast in 1994.
No Sustrans route then, no suspension forks, no SPDs, no Camelbacks and no cares. Just big rucksacks, rough camping and a lot of fun. Oh, and some beer.

The pirate on the left is my mate Steve on his Raleigh (navigator?) that weighed about a ton.
