I've no intention of buying it (couldn't afford it even if i wanted it) but is it as awesome as i perceive it to be?

Yes. I rode a friend's bike with it and wondered how much I could sell my girlfriend for to fund a groupset of my own.

It is VERY cool.....you chnge gear 'just because' and try to catch it out by making multiple shifts.More exciting is what you can program it to do if you have the knowledge/expertise....multiple shifts, single button actuation, link it to a powertap etc.I think its fairwheel who have adapted it to mtb use.
It will be cheaper soon as there is going to be an Ultegra level Di2 coming out in the not too distant future.

And yet you can't fit a chain properly 🙂

You clearly have too much money!

Bruce, don't tell porkies now.... There's no way that your Scandium gates are lighter than the Addict CX's!

err, put the easton forks on the carbon frames and they'd be even lighter?
