Thought i could fit my Chris King to my 08 Pitch but Specialized have honed the headtube to 34.0 mm rather than the industry standard for 11/8" of 33.9 mm. This means there is no interferance fit and can be fitted by hand.

This is a well documented problem but does anyone know what headsets come up Big ie 34.1 mm, have heard that Crane Creek or FSA maybe my only option ??

Stick it in with some liqud nails and a roofing bolt, & ride it like you stole it instead of turning it into a garage queen & stop worrying you big tart!! Where were you last night anyway? 🙂

Just put a Cane Creek 110 on mine, from when they were £29 at CRC. I think that pretty much beats everything else hands down! 😉

A CC110 for £29 ? lets hope they do that again. Been on CC website and their standard Dia is 34.1 mm which looks promising.
