Is this like snake oil, or does it actually work?

Haven't used that exact cream, but got some from Decathlon the other day and have used it twice so far... and it seems to do the job for me!

ive not tried that particular one but the udderly smooth and assos versions seem to work better than just a placebo effect.

sudocrem - seems fine for prevention and if you forget & get a sore arse, it's like an angel kissing yer cheeks better

Do people really put this stuff on their arse cheeks ? I slap it around the lower groin area where I'm susceptible to getting sores on long rides.

It's the highlight of the ride for me! 🙂

I've used it, it's great, like wiping your arse on a swans neck.

Depends whether you're doing the riding to warrant it.

TBH, not all are equal - I'm going to switch brands after still getting chafing last Sat (mind you, I did ride 165 miles...).

I do a typical 30 to 40 mile day on my bike (every day) and I don't wear cycling shorts as the chammy has proved long-term to be uncomfortable. And this whole cream on yer bollocks thing seems a bit pervy.

I'm with bassspine... I ride all day, every day all summer and I've never felt the need to touch the stuff...
