i need a place to stay in whistler for the next year or two. have been before and i know housing is tough to come by at a reasonable price. anyone renting anything out this year or need a roommate etc?
If you're getting there in the spring/summer finding a pace isn't as bad as winter.
Creekside was historically dead for summer due to limited mountain access and the massive vacancy rate in the other parts of town.
Now you can access the park from Creekside, I'd look here first.
Pique newsmagazine for ads as well as sites like Craigslist.
Whistler has changed hugely in the last few years so I'm probably well out of touch with what's actually happening.
Man, enjoy. I stayed long term with Ticket 2 ride BC, was pretty fair price and decent accommodation. Although I did share a room.
Housing is getting pretty bad out here, even for summer. I cant find a private room for under 850 a month which i just cant afford as im broke (#whislife)
So staying put and currently sharing a room for 750/month.
Its still amazing out here though, it will be better when the sun actually decides to show up though and the snow melts. Still sooo much on the mountain.
