I remember a post where someone was talking about painting a carbon frame, perhaps with something like plastikote?

Don't quite fancy this diy method, but has anyone got any suggestions where I can get it done other than Argos (looks uber uber expensive)?

Or does anywhere do the rubberised finish like on Mojo SLs??

Anyone got any pictures of home painted carbon or professionally painted carbon?

I've had a carbon road frame painted. The original clearcoat was removed by fine sandpaper then painted. My frame was airbrushed as I wanted an individual design and cost £400. Looks good though!

The Argos respray does look superb...but they're pricey.

But just as people use industrial powder coaters at a much lesser cost than Argos, surely there must be some industrial carbon painters out there.

Where did you get yours done Mr Mojo and any pics?

IIRC if you get it done at Argos then it can still remain under Warrenty should the frame fail.

Ok, then ~£400 to get a carbon 2007 Trek Fuel Ex painted or forget what it looks like and buy a new frame sometime?
