just wondered what experiences people have had?
running LX calipers with hope floating, no problem at all...
surely you mean hope rotors with shimano calipers?
YES

XTR and hope floaties here. no problems
760xt and hope floats didn't work, rotor/spider rivets hit the caliper.
neil, I'm guessing your new wheels have come?
Donk, were you using post conversion brackets or straight to is mount?
if running is to post conversion you could have spaced the caliper to allow rivets to pass.
Problem solved.
is to post IIRC and I'm pretty sure it was the caliper tabs that were rubbins agains the rotor rivets not the adaptor. Could have fudged it but then the rotor would not have been running in the centre of the caliper.
Or do you mean spaced rearwards away from the fork leg instead of to the left away from the wheel?
Spaced away from mounts/fork/ yes
I know its a tad Heath Robinson, but it has worked when i had the wrong rotors before a weekend away.
XTR, Hope floaters here also, no problems.
Hope floating rotors with Saint M810 calipers - little bit of filing on caliper to clear float rivet. Otherwise great combo.
Really old 525 on hope floaters, no problems here either.
As per zangolin, Hope 183's with Mb10 Saints required a little filing to clear the rotor rivets.
