Hi as the title says, if so what are they like compared to Pikes/Foxs?
These are non adjustable travel??

I'm using them and have just done 4 days in North wales, feel similar to my 09 revs but way lighter and look better too! I've also had pikes and fox floats. To be honest they all work in a very similar way, internals are very similar between the two brands.
Nice and plush, the 20mm axle is very stiff. Travel is adjustable via spacers (provided) but obviously they don't have anything like u-turn etc. Rutlands are doing them at a bargain price at the moment (where mine came from).
I lost my rebound adjuster at the weekend which is specific to the new forks so have to wait 2 weeks for that but no big deal..not sure how it fell out either!
You can't really go wrong with them, the claimed weight is correct too.

i am using them on the mm bop.
very very plush and very stiff.
i always thought revs were better than pikes.
being big, i have to run a fair bit of psi in them. and on the pikes it took a fair knock to get them moving.
think i am gonna get another set for the pig.

I've got a set on my five, and they seem pretty good, although maybe a bit keen to blow through the middle of the travel. On the whole though, they are a little bit plusher than my old Talas, and a bit stiffer (both are QR versions)

Also, they aren't 150mm. With any air in the negative chamber there's only 130mm of stanchion showing, and that only goes up to 140mm with no negative pressure.

Davy - don't agree. Mine are 150mm with 130psi negative pressure

did you do the positive chamber first? when i did the neg chamber first it did suck them down to 130mm. let all the air out and did pos first and all okay

your pikes weren't working then, they are virtually identical forks

No Retro 83, they are not. I have both and they are not even the slightest bit similar- The Pike being a clumpier DJ and Trail fork and the Rev 150 being a stiff lightweight trail and xc fork.

Of course! Not even slightly similar.
Aside from the identical damper (motion control on the Rev Race), spring (dual air), seals. I think they even used the same lowers until a year or so ago.

Certainly there is no reason at all why Pikes should 'require a big knock to get them moving' and Revs not. Probably a dry seal, incorrectly sized bushing or the foam rings not sitting properly in the lowers. All of those can happen to either fork.

@Davy

I am running 100 -/+ on my revs and have 150mm available.

Im still not convinced by mine. I had them from Merlin (good deal) with the pushloc, that was useless as I dont want lock out. Ive dropped the travel to 140 internally and use as much-VE as I can without the travel dropping. They blow through the mid travel easily. I've changed to 10wt oil in the Motion control and put on an external comprssion adjuster instead of the pushloc. Dropping the -ve improves ramp up just a teeny tiny bit but compromises plushness on smalls too much IMO. They took ages to break in, Im now running close to recommended air in the +VE , only needed half that when new, should signify good tolerances. Suspension performance isnt as good (for me) as my 2005 Marz Zls, but better than my coil Pikes which seemed wooden. Revs much stiffer though and seem very well made.

I've just swapped out a pair of Pike Airs for these...

I'm very impressed. I haven't noticed any difference in stiffness, but they're a whole lot lighter than the Pikes. The damping feels spot on too.

Recommended.
