I've had Alleycats for a while and really like them. Have low light, red chrome and photochromic lenses.
I had reservations about how the Kingpins might look, thinking they'd be a bit big. Also had initial reservations about the Vantage lens when the first arrived.
In use I really like them. The vantage lens seems a step up from the original photochromic lenses.
I'm a glasses wearer (long and short), but manage to ride fine in Melons.
Both are decent, go for whichever you prefer the look of - the Kingpins have the advantage of the bottom frame meaning they are less likely to cut your face in a crash. They are my new favourites. I know some folk don't like the arm interface with their helmets. Both mine are fine with three different Fox lids.
Kingpins just have a bit better coverage & give you that 80s Eddie the Eagle look.
