I have been a lifelong cycling fan. Love bikes, love riding bikes, love watching bike racing etc.
But I cannot for the life of me fathom why a rising star of the sport would take drugs today. I can only conclude that it is still rife in the pro peleton, and whilst not necessarily the most high profile athlete to test positive, this might just be the last straw for me and professional cycling. It is just no longer believable.
