Been looking at buying these
But the rims look like 823's to me with the nipple inserts. Can anyone give a second opinion?
cheers
Yep mavics
why why why
Well spotted.
also says in the text "There is no Cracks or dents to the Scandium rims"??
Read the description. Think it's a mix up.
Read the description. Think it's a mix up.
Mavic rims stickered up as Stan's, and 'nearly new'?
They look suspiciously like plain gauge spokes as well.
Description says they are Crossmax STs, if he was wanting to pull the wool over someone's eyes then it's a pretty poor job.
Hmmm he's selling crossmaxs as well so wrong description through human error. No idea about the Crest confusion though.
If you check out his other items for sale you'll see he has a pair of mavic st's and a pair of hope/ crests. I would say its just a mix up. Does have a lot of stuff for sale. ...
I think he's trying it on, don't think is a mix up.
The photos show a rim with "Crest" stickers on them but the nipples and the rim profile does not look like a Crest rim.
Mix up my balls. It is no way in hell human error, he's got some mavic rims, and put crest logos on them.
They are obviously stickered up Mavic rims to look like Stans. Some poor sucker will buy them, and may not even know.
That would seriously pee me off if it happened to me.
Reported to eBay as counterfeit.
I'm a little stunned with that , the description mix up happens with eBay
Selling mavic ust rims with stans decals just wrong
It's not like the mavic ones are cheap and nasty why bother
The description now says "Mavic XM 819 UST"and "The wheels as you can see from the pictures have been re-stickered with Stans ZTR Crest."
It looks like the description was changed recently though, but I couldn't say for sure if this is malicious or just a mix-up. Bit strange to re-sticker your rims with a different brand though.
Particularly a product of comparable value. They were never Crossmax STs though, so that's an improvement!
