I'm considering getting a vivid air to replace the frankly underwhelming RS Monarch I've currently got with the aim of having one shock for general trail duties and uplifty stuff. Anyone got any experience of them?

got one on the DH bike that i got for a warrenty replacement after i broke my coil shock. not had chance to use it much but it feels very nice and plush. i like the fact it has end of stroke and beginning stoke rebound adjustment too. Probelm using one for trail duties is that you will obviously not be able to lock it out etc, plus it will prob be around 300g heavier.
