These look really interesting - 9point8 Slack-R- basically an angleset for integrated headsets. Looks like I could take my HTA from 69.4, to something like 67.4-ish, which seems like a useful amount for £99.

Anyone used one yet?

Yeah, has it's limitations. I'm fortunate to meet the criteria, I guess.

Hardtail Party on YouTube fitted a 9point8 one to a Chameleon so have a look at that. I fitted a superstar -2 degree headset to my hardtail and a longer fork. It was a massive improvement from standard.

@dukeduvet - yeah, saw that. Don’t fancy the idea of filing the inside of a carbon frame out, personally! Mines an aluminium frame, so hopefully more precise finishes internally.

I've got one in my Tallboy. I've had it move out of alignment twice now. It could just be my ham fistedness but I certainly struggle to get it tight enough without it moving out of alignment.

@balfa - Ah. That doesn't sound good! Have you contacted 9point8 or Shore Lines (UK reseller if that's where you're based) for advice?
