Anyone using them ? I would prefer a fixed one similar to this Thule 963 spare me.
but would consider others. Would be interested in any DIY solutions as well.
Getting tired of trying to get the bikes off and particularly on the roof of the tall 4x4.
Any thoughts or ideas welcomed.
DIY version using 4x4 fence posts 🙂
We had one for our 4x4. Hooked over the wheel and held on with a couple of straps. Keep meaning to stick it on ebay as we sold the car a while back. Pops off easily and folds flat which is handy for security. Pretty basic but does the job. Looks like this:

Thanks for the offer Nick, I was wanting a strapless number if possible, after major faffage with previous ( hatchback ) rear carriers, and also so I would like to just leave it in place. But if nowt else turns up I will give a shout 🙂
