This should be a good contest, although I can't seem to see if it will actually be broadcast in the uk, which would be a shame IMO. You could always use a VPN and watch the American feed.

I imagine there might be a few age-groupers on here who are in too? Mrs Yak had qualified, and we'd planned to go, but a dose of covid has meant it's been sacked off. Good luck to everyone going, competing, supporting or spectating.

A clubmate qualified for his age group but caught Covid last week on a trip out to the Pyrenees for some training.

He's understandably gutted.

Wonder what sort of pace and terrain they'll be doing. I like trying to ride gravel fast (i.e. I'm a roadie-graveller) but the thought of racing it just sounds brutal!
