Hi, Just about to purchase a Topeak Defender M1 front mudgaurd but have noticed there seems to be a cap where i need to plug it in under the fork arch.
Cant seem to find a way of getting it out. Anyone know if there is one?!

i think you'll find it's bonded in place. I used to actually bolt a Defender onto it, but these days I use an XL Mucky Nutz bender fender or the Mudhugger front instead. The Topeak thing isn't all that ime.

As above, it's not a cap, it's part of the structure of the fork. If I were you I'd get a guard that mounts to the brace instead.
