[Closed] 120mm Travel or U-Turn conversion possible with Revelation RLT forks

I've got a set a Revelation RLT 140 forks that i purchased from Merlin Cycles december last year, I believe they are non retail versions and where sold as 2012 models. They were bought for a C456 I built up, But i've now sold the frame and moved the majority of the parts over to my commuter bike, which will now be my main bike (GT Avalanche Pro). I've fitted some cheap 100mm RS Recon Silver TK forks to it (which are ok), but would prefer to put the Revelations on there with reduced travel, 120mm would be perfect I reckon,

Could I either reduce the travel on these to 120mm, by adding an additional 20mm spacer. Looking at the manual it implies that 130mm is the minimum travel, but this was a 2010 manual.

Or would it be possible to convert them to coil sprung with a U-turn spring and enable them to be adjustable, I think i'd prefer this option if possible.
