Welcome to the Specialized Bikes brand page on singletrackworld.com

Founded by Mike Sinyard in 1974, Specialized is based in Morgan Hill, California. The company began as a custom bicycle frame shop, with one employee making just one bike per week. By 1980, the business had grown and was ready to begin producing its own unique line of bikes. Today Specialized has thousands of employees worldwide and produces bikes for every discipline of cycling for men, women and children. Over the past few decades, Specialized has contributed significantly to improving cycling technology through innovation and design.
Today Specialized is one of the most successful and respected bicycle companies in the world.
Specialized is the world’s largest manufacturer of bicycles, and the world’s second-largest producer of carbon fibre
