Overview

Who are Specialized Bikes?

Specialized was founded by Mike Sinyard in 1974 in Morgan Hill, California, starting as an importer of Italian parts before launching the Stumpjumper in 1981 — one of the first mass-produced mountain bikes. That bike helped define the sport, and the brand has stayed at its cutting edge ever since.

Today Specialized spans the Stumpjumper and Enduro trail and gravity bikes, the Epic cross-country racer and the hugely influential Turbo Levo e-MTB, backed by heavy investment in its own suspension, tyres, shoes and helmets.
