Here we have a lovely Travers Russ Ti titanium MTB frame for sale.

This was a custom built frame with a few modifications to the stock model.

Firstly it is an XL which was not made at the time but I believe they make one now.

The seat tube was extended to replicate my Giant XTC so measures to 21″

The head tube is quite low I believe around 120mm.

The other measurements will be much the same as what they are now offering in XL.

Blueprint of original measurements can be sent though if needed.

I am 6’3″ and 34″ inside leg if that’s a help and it fitted me a treat.

I also requested a 30.9 measurement of seat diameter as I had a few posts  in this size to fit.

Dropper guides have been fitted under top tube so an external post would need to be fitted ( a lot of the other cabling is internal so internal dropper may be fitted with experimentation!)

I also requested a BSA threaded BB instead of the usual BB30.

Cabling for rear mech and rear brake is internal and very easy to route.

You can do it this way but I ran mine using the dropper guides so there are options to run it external if you like but internal is cleaner!

This is not your usual titanium frame.

It has huge clearance!

Designed originally around a 29 XC tyre (possibly up to 2.4) but will also take a 27.5 plus tyre up to 3.25 so a great bike packing weapon!

It was used as a versatile bike so was ridden with Plus tyres ,29 tyres,100mm forks, rigid forks and 120mm forks so the world is your oyster!

It rides as your typical XC bike and was used as such but obviously a lot  more versatile!

In great condition as it is titanium with no cracks or damage (these frames have a life time Warranty).

There are marks and scratches from use but being titanium these can be buffed out with a Scotch brite pad.

Included in the sale are the Hope seatclamp,Hope headset (modern tapered) and two thru axles, one with Q/R lever and one bought after market with Allen key fitment (the axle is 148 Boost so will fit modern wheelsets).

I will also include spare dropouts which were never used as they are bombproof as made out of solid billet! 😀

Great detail with Travers logo machined into chainstay bridge and headtune and anodised Travers logo on downtube.

A fantastic frame and would have kept it but have just invested in a F/S frame and my partner will go mad knowing they are both in the house! 😂

Hit me up with any questions or Michael at Travers (he is very helpful!)

I paid £1600 in 2018 with custom options but I believe they are nearer £2000.

Wanting £850 O.N.O
