Singletrack Podcast | The one where a bloke jumps out of a helicopter

Where do I start with the rambling introduction to this week’s episode? It has to be one of the most random introductions we’ve ever recorded. Chipps joins the professionals and Charlie reckons we have something to learn as mountain bikers from the flying fish bloke who jumped out of a helicopter without a parachute.

There is some sense introduced in the latter half of the episode when Chipps sits down with Neon from Specialized in a Scottish pub to talk about the new Specialized Stumpjumper. It was a bit noisy in there, so we hope that doesn’t distract you too much. But that’s pubs for you.

Help us make our podcasts even better

You can watch Chipps talk Stumpy’s here too.

Singletrack Owner/Publisher

Mark has been riding mountain bikes for over 30 years and co-owns Singletrack, where he's been publisher for 25 years. While his official title might be Managing Director, his actual job description is "whatever needs doing" – from wrangling finances and keeping the lights on to occasionally remembering to ride bikes for fun rather than just work. He's seen the sport evolve from rigid forks to whatever madness the industry dreams up next, and he's still not entirely sure what "gravel" is. When he's not buried in spreadsheets or chasing late invoices, he's probably thinking about his next ride.

  1. @eddiebaby we had hoped to record it last week but something came up and they had to reschedule the recording. Hoping to get everyone in the virtual studio soon.
