Intense have sneakily posted a limited edition Shaun Palmer Tracer, in very stormtrooper-esque black and white colourscheme. Because of that, it’s difficult to photograph, just like Shaun Palmer.
The bike has Palmer’s personal spec, which appears to take Intense’s carbon Pro Tracer as a base for upgrades, which include e*thirteen carbon cranks, an upgraded Fabric seat with carbon rails, carbon Fatbar, Magura MT8 brakes, and a SRAM XG-1180 cassette, which sits between the ones on the pro and factory builds in terms of weight. The Renthal stem isn’t specced on any other Tracers, it gets a Stealth Reverb rather than the Lev Integra of other builds.
Tying in nicely with the custom black/white graphics together is the special edition DT-Swiss wheelset with Palmer-designed artwork and white spokes. WHITE FREAKIN’ SPOKES. Palmer’s crown logo replaces Intense’s head badge and hub logos while all of the Palmer Project sponsors are listed on the inside of the seatstay.
The edition is limited to four hundred bikes, of which a mere 15 will make it to the UK, full specs here. Price for the complete bike will be £5,999

Rather hoped it would an homage to his stars and stripes M1…
