65e86ad0-b548-4b52-9b30-c2bba86b70aaWas 2015 the most successful season ever? We think so!

A couple of years ago, when we first took over the series we asked ourselves how could we better it? Was it past its best?

67105c9a-cffb-477a-ac23-6929417ab152With hard work and the support of our amazing partners, a tireless crew, and of course, YOU amazing people, we feel that our drive towards a whole weekends festival of family friendly mountain bike action was epitomised at round 5 in Ruthin, North Wales – we’ll let the feedback speak for itself:

Barney Marsh takes the word ‘career’ literally, veering wildly across the road of his life, as thoroughly in control as a goldfish on the dashboard of a motorhome. He’s been, with varying degrees of success, a scientist, teacher, shop assistant, binman and, for one memorable day, a hospital laundry worker. These days, he’s a dad, husband, guitarist, and writer, also with varying degrees of success. He sometimes takes photographs. Some of them are acceptable. Occasionally he rides bikes to cast the rest of his life into sharp relief. Or just to ride through puddles. Sometimes he writes about them. Bikes, not puddles. He is a writer of rongs, a stealer of souls and a polisher of turds. He isn’t nearly as clever or as funny as he thinks he is.
