Gareth and the team from the Scott MTB-Marathon series give us a precis of Round 5:
Thanks to everyone who joined us for the finale of the MTB-Marathon series for 2015, we had a great time and so it appears, did you! For those of you who missed any social media news, the rider times can be accessed HERE, along with some awesome photos from Rob Barker HERE. We also have a competition running, I’m sure that there are some of you out there who have managed to gather a full collection of T shirts this season, comment and share your image HERE or email us to be in with a chance of winning a free pair of Schwalbe tyres.
Was 2015 the most successful season ever? We think so!
A couple of years ago, when we first took over the series we asked ourselves how could we better it? Was it past its best?
With hard work and the support of our amazing partners, a tireless crew, and of course, YOU amazing people, we feel that our drive towards a whole weekends festival of family friendly mountain bike action was epitomised at round 5 in Ruthin, North Wales – we’ll let the feedback speak for itself:
“First time I’ve done this event and can I say how much I enjoyed it!!! So well organised, loads of support, feed stations and very lovely marshals…. loved it….deffo a must for next year! Some killer hills in there!”

All of this great feedback simply serves to drive us forward to make next year even better, all of our brand partners rushed to confirm their involvement for 2016, this just proves that we have become a family that will go from strength to strength no matter what the cycle industry dreams up next.
Lots of you have asked us for next year’s dates, we are keen to publish these although please understand these are PROVISIONAL!
