Chipps’ shots from Friday’s timed practice at Fort William. News just in is that there’ll be no qualification today due to the high winds making it impossible to run bikes on the gondolas, so it’ll all start early tomorrow instead. Don’t worry, there’s still 4X, Danny MacAskill’s Drop and Roll show, Scottish Trials comp and all the pits and event village stuff to see.

With 23 years as Editor of Singletrack World Magazine, Chipps is the longest-running mountain bike magazine editor in the world.
