Like most of you, we were out staring up at the murky (Yorkshire) sky, hoping for a glimpse of the eclipse. While we were doing that Redbull, Dany MacAskill and top photog Rutger Pauw were actually on the Isle of Skye just waiting for their moment.  Well, it certainly came. This is the best image of the eclipse we’ve seen anywhere and over on the Redbull site there’s a detailed explanation of exactly how they managed to get this awesome shot.

Did you get a good shot of the eclipse? Email us your shots and we’ll prize up any we add to this story. Send them to newsdesk@singletrackworld.com

Singletrack Owner/Publisher

Mark has been riding mountain bikes for over 30 years and co-owns Singletrack, where he's been publisher for 25 years. While his official title might be Managing Director, his actual job description is "whatever needs doing" – from wrangling finances and keeping the lights on to occasionally remembering to ride bikes for fun rather than just work. He's seen the sport evolve from rigid forks to whatever madness the industry dreams up next, and he's still not entirely sure what "gravel" is. When he's not buried in spreadsheets or chasing late invoices, he's probably thinking about his next ride.

  1. What is this supposed to show? He can ignore celestial mechanics and once in a lifetime cosmic gifts just so he can do a drop off?
